Duration
The tournament lasts a total of 5 shooting days, with each archer having one day off.
Format
The WBHC Format shall consist of the following 28 target rounds:
- 2 Rounds of the IFAA Unmarked Animal Round – 3 Arrow Round
- 1 Round of the IFAA 3-D Standard Round – 2 Arrow Round
- 1 Round of the IFAA 3-D Hunting Round – 1 Arrow Round
Rounds may be shot in any sequence.
Age Divisions
Participants must be within the age range on the first day of competition:
- Cubs – 12 years and under
- Juniors – 13 to 16 years
- Young Adults – 17 to 20 years
- Adults – 21 to 54 years
- Veterans – 55 years and over
- Seniors – 65 years and over
Equipment Divisions
Male and Female categories are available in all recognized IFAA bow styles:
- Barebow Recurve (BBR)
- Barebow Compound (BBC)
- Freestyle Limited Recurve (FSR)
- Freestyle Limited Compound (FSC)
- Freestyle Unlimited (FU)
- Longbow (LB)
- Bowhunter Recurve (BHR)
- Bowhunter Compound (BHC)
- Bowhunter Limited (BL)
- Bowhunter Unlimited (BU)
- Historical Bow (HB)
- Traditional Recurve Bow (TR)
The WBHC 2027 will be shot following the rules published by the IFAA in the Book of Rules 2021, which can be found on the IFAA Website.
