The German Field Archery Association (DFBV) stands on a solid ground counting more than 3,300 members, with 100 registered clubs, organizing 60 events per year in regards of tournaments and national Championships for indoor, field & hunter and 3D shooting.
All DFBV board members are highly motivated to host the WBHC 2027 in Germany.

We represent Germany within the IFAA, the International Field Archery Association, which is an archery association that was formally founded in 1970 (even though tournaments were already organised in Europe from 1967) when a group of field archers from the USA, Sweden, England, Scotland, Wales and Canada agreed on a set of basic rules by which Field Archery tournaments would be run. We now represent over 50,000 field archers and have more than 45 member countries from all continents.
