The delegates of all countries, which are a full member of the IFAA recieved the following letter:
Dear friends of archery,
The German Field Archery Association (DFBV) is proud to host the WBHC 2027
in Germany. We will start registration and sign-up for the 2027 World Championships in October 2026; exact date and time will be communicated in advance. This Championships will be held in accordance with the IFAA Book of Rules 2021-2022. This means that membership in an IFAA association is required and evidence of two scores shot in any bowhunter round in the preceding 24 months of the competition must be produced. Failure to produce the required evidence will result in disqualification of the archer from this event.

Article 11/D. Styles
The IFAA shooting styles are divided into four (4) groups, each with their own shooting styles grouped together. International Field Archery Association Book of Rules: 2021-2022 (Rev 04 April 2021)
In order to invite and welcome as many IFAA nations as possible, we will reserve starting places for 9 archers for all IFAA full members, in particular to ensure that each country will register a Team of Nations. This concept has been discussed and agreed with the IFAA Executive Board.
Please let us know by 31 July 2026 whether you will be using these 9 starting places to register a National Team of Nations. We request that you provide us with the names and styles of the shooters by 30 September 2026 to control their registration, as these archers should register by themselves on the upcoming WBHC 2027 homepage as usual and indicate that they are members of a Team of Nations.
We also request a reply by 31 July 2026 if you do not wish to take up this offer, as these starting places will then be allocated to the general quota and other archers will take these starting places.
We are aware that there will be Nations who will be unable to enter a Team of Nations due to the small number of entries. These Nations will still have access to the 9 places reserved for their Team of Nations and can send us names and styles by the 31 July 2026 of archers wishing to attend that WBHC 2027. These archers should register by themselves on the upcoming WBHC 2027 homepage as usual in October 2026.
This offer has been discussed with and approved by the IFAA Executive Committee to allow all nations an equal opportunity to enter and compete at the WBHC 2027 in Germany.
